What is required if I'm renting a property?

Prior to receiving service, a water customer who is a non-owner of the premises or is purchasing on land contract shall pay a deposit of $200.  Such deposit shall be held by the Association without interest as a security for non-payment on water bills, turn on expenses, damage to meter, penalties, and such other fees or charges that may become due to the Association by the water user once they move.  This deposit may be waived in writing or phone call by the owner.  If the deposit is waived the owner would be responsible for all unpaid bills. There is also a tenant agreement that you and the owner would need to sign to switch the account over into your name. The tenant agreement can be found below or by contacting our office.
