Why was my service disconnected?


 

   If payment is not received by 4:00 pm on the grace day, your bill is considered delinquent.  At this time a late fee is charged to the account. After the second month of non-payment, the account is subject to disconnection and a 50.00 disconnection fee is charged to the account.

 

   Please be advised that water service will be restored the same day payment is received,          provided payment is made between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. If paying after the disconnect day, please contact our office to confirm receipt of payment for service to be restored.

 

   On scheduled turn-off days, accounts with unpaid balances are disconnected in the morning. Customers who make their payment on the same day will have their water service restored after 12:30 p.m.

 

  Please note that our field crew does not provide additional notice at the time of disconnection. The official notification is the Final Disconnect Notice included on your bill prior to the scheduled turn-off date.
